RIP, NEAL PEIRCE, JANUARY 5, 1932 - DECEMBER 27, 2019

Today would have been Neal Peirce's 94th Birthday.

For decades, Neal was the nationally syndicated journalist for The Washington Post, whose columns chronicled best practices in cities and regions throughout the nation.

I was fortunate to have him as a friend and civic colleague for over 25 years.
